Viva.....Spokane??
To cap off our barrage of traveling over the past month, we headed up to Spokane just this last weekend to spend some time with Tiff's family and so that Reid could meet three more of his cousins!
Reid, Mikhail, and Hunter hangin out together for the first time. His hair really is so soft...sometimes you just wanna pet him :)
And who could forget about Jace! He has gotten so big and was runnin' around like a pro.
So nice to get back up to the NW where its nearly always beautiful green. A view from Tiff's Mom's patio down to the Spokane River.
And whenever we head to the NW, Reid has to show his school spirit and sport his Coug gear. I'm letting it fly since he's only 5 months old...once he's a bit older, I'll convert him to Oregon green.

Viva Las Vegas
Our travels have continued the last couple of weeks. We had an awesome weekend in Las Vegas which served to spend time with the Grankowski's as well as a late celebration of Tiff's birthday.
A snapshot from our hotel window...
Reid loves spending time with his Auntie Emily and his cousin Taylor.
Even got in a little pool time at the good ol' Las Vegas Hotel. And yes...those are super cool aliens on Reid's swim trunks :)
Aunt Emily and Uncle Greg were nice enough to watch Reid for one night so that Tiff & I could got out on the town. Reid was tryin to bring this nice looking gorilla home but we had to tell him no.
But all good things have to come to an end. We had to stop about an hour into our drive along Lake Mead to feed the little guy. That's the smile of a full tummy ready to hit the road back to Phoenix.

Kauai Trip
So less than 12 hours after getting home from Missouri, we were back on a plane...but this time to a place slightly more desirable...Kauai! Reid loved the plane and slept nearly the whole 7 hour flight.
The condo where we stayed with Tiff's Dad, brother, and wife Nikki was unbelievable! This was a shot of the view from the patio.
Reid got into the mood right away by throwin on his swim trunks and sweet new sunglasses.
And he even still found some time for tummy time between hangin on the beach and laying by the pool.
Tiff and I found some time (with grandpa Mark babysitting) to go zip lining in the rainforest with Blake and Nikki. Amazing time!!
Another morning, we got to hike up the "Sleeping Giant" which gave some pretty spectacular views of the coast and the mountainous rainforest.
In the end, it was mostly about hangin by the pool and catching some rays.
But all of that activity really tires a guy out. So there was plenty of time for catching up on sleep.
Thanks again to Mark for an amazing trip and givin Reid his first chance to see the ocean!

Graduation
May 12th marked the end of a long road for our family as we celebrated my graduation from medical school in Kirksville, Missouri (wherever that is!). My parents and sister made the long trip out to see the sites and meet many of Tiff and I's friends. Even little man got dressed up for the occasion.
Pictures from our Hawaii trip coming soon....
My Dad loved spending time with his grandson. I'm not sure who was more dapper that morning :)
Supposedly that is me walking across the stage in front of too many people. All I remember is thinking "don't trip...don't trip"
And after all the formalities were over, we had an appropriate Missouri celebration....friends, family, BBQ, (and I think I saw moonshine at one point). All in all, it was a great weekend and we were both happy and sad to leave Kirksville but will greatly miss all of our friends that remain too far away in the midwest.Pictures from our Hawaii trip coming soon....

15 Weeks!
Our little guy hit the 15 week mark this last Friday. He's growing like a weed and really starting to interact with us a lot. He smiles at just about everything and loves reading books (well he tends to make noise at the pictures he likes, Tiff & I have gotten very familiar with a shelf full of children's books already). Here are just a few updated snapshots of our little man...
Dressed up just a little bit for a weekend BBQ with some friends....
I think that might be considered a popped collar...you be the judge...
He has started to hold his head up really well and will undoubtedly be crawling before we know it.
And like I said, he loves to read...His favorite right now is "The Poky Little Puppy", its a much better read than it sounds....though any book gets old after round 20...
With all these activities, he still loves to catch some zzzzz's whenever time permits.

12 weeks and Counting!!
We can't believe that Reid is already 12 weeks old (actually 13 weeks old tomorrow!). He's been really busy with growing, having visitors, and starting daycare this last few weeks. Both grandmas came down and spent some time with us again and grandpa Mark stopped by again. Though we don't have any pictures of him at school yet, Reid started daycare at Tutor Time this week and seems to love his class of 7 other babies. Here's a little taste of what the little dude has been up to...
As you can see, Reid is very torn in our household between being a WSU Cougar fan and being a Oregon Duck fan (the bumbo is definitely a shade of U of O green).
We've had a chance to get out for a dinner or two as a family...as you can see...Reid preferred to nap for this photo shoot.
Here's Reid and his Mom who loves to keep dressing him in lil Coug gear to my dismay...
There seems to be a theme here...and yes it does get a little chilly here in Phoenix from time to time...
But as expected, most of the time its pretty warm and lil Reid likes to hang out on his surfboard without his shirt on.
But by the end of the day...he's still gotta catch some zzzzzz's.
